Jungheinrich AG Extends Global Technology Agreement with Powerfleet
After just one year into a multi-year contract with the leading provider of intralogistics to collaborate on product development, sales and support for their telematics needs, Powerfleet is proud to announce an extension to its existing agreement with Jungheinrich. Powerfleet was originally tapped by Jungheinrich to develop a highly integrated telemetry platform for its vehicles combined with sophisticated fleet management software in Europe. Through this evolving partnership, Powerfleet will continue to help Jungheinrich expand their market penetration in EMEA and North America by enabling Jungheinrich customers to run safer, more cost-effective intralogistics operations.
Powerfleet Joins Russell 3000® Index
Powerfleet® was added to the broad-market Russell 3000® Index at the conclusion of the annual reconstitution of the Russell indexes, effective after the U.S. market opens today, June 29, according to the FTSE Russell website. Annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of May 8, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the U.S. all-cap Russell 3000® Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
Rusken Packaging Selects Powerfleet® For Optimized Trailer Efficiency
Powerfleet has been selected by Rusken Packaging to outfit its private fleet with the Powerfleet LV-500 solar tracking solution and the Powerfleet LV-710 Freight Camera. The Alabama-based company will utilize Powerfleet’s LV-500 solar tracking solution coupled with the LV-710 Freight Camera to help maintain visibility of location and load status for its full fleet of trailers with deliveries starting in June of 2020.
Powerfleet Recognized as Critical for COVID-19 Response
Powerfleet has been notified by one of its marquee food and beverage customers that as a key supplier Powerfleet and its employees have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as workers who provide essential critical infrastructure during the COVID-19 response. In Israel, Powerfleet’s operations have also been designated as an essential service as it supports emergency responders and critical logistics infrastructure.
Powerfleet Launching New Updates to Powerfleet Expert Suite
Powerfleet has announced significant updates to its Powerfleet Expert suite with the additions of OC55 and OC59. OC55 is set to launch this month and OC59 will be available later in the year. The OC55 combined with the Powerfleet Expert software enables industrial truck fleet management to bolster safety practices and increase visibility for better asset management. The OC59 will offer all the benefits of the OC55 but with cellular communication and GPS, so customers can experience the benefits of Powerfleet Expert solutions on material handling equipment used outside without requiring Wi-Fi connectivity.
Mobileye and Pointer Collaborate to Install Traffic Telematics Units on Traffic Lights in Jerusalem
Powerfleet has announced that its subsidiary, Pointer, is working in tandem with Mobileye to install Pointer telematics units on traffic lights in the streets of Jerusalem. The negotiation follows the joint pilot between both companies. Pointer’s telematics units transmit the status of the traffic light in real time to the Mobileye Autonomous Experimental Vehicles. The units enable direct communication between the traffic light and the vehicle and provide an additional data layer from the vehicle’s sensors.
Tropical Shipping Selects Powerfleet for U.S. and Caribbean Chassis Fleet
Powerfleet has announced a partnership with Tropical Shipping, a transportation company that services the Bahamas, Caribbean, South and Central America. Under the terms of the deal, Powerfleet will equip Tropical’s entire U.S. chassis fleet with over 2,000 5G Compatible LTE LV-300 next generation asset visibility systems on existing chassis, as well as new builds.
All Truck to Roll Out Powerfleet LV-Series Across Their Entire Fleet
Powerfleet® for Logistics has been engaged by All Truck to upgrade its entire fleet of 1,500+ trailers from existing 3G devices to Powerfleet 5G-compatible LTE LV-100 devices. Upgrading the All Truck fleet to LTE LV-100 devices is a critical business initiative enabling All Truck to understand fleet and asset activity in real time so it can quickly manage and respond to customer capacity demand.
B.A.H Express Selects I.D. Systems’ Solutions to Increase Visibility and Ensure ELD Compliance
Powerfleet for Logistics has been engaged by B.A.H. Express to equip its entire fleet of 200 tractors with I.D. Systems’ state-of-the-art LV9000 in-cab technology platform. The addition of I.D. Systems’ platform will ensure that B.A.H becomes compliant with the Department of Transportation’s newly mandated electronic hours of service regulations.
